Primitivo di Manduria doc 2023 Borgo al Pascolo
It displays an intense ruby red color with purple highlights, dense and consistent in the glass. On the nose, it releases a broad and enveloping bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe red fruit (plum, cherries in alcohol) and berry jam, accompanied by elegant hints of sweet spices, vanilla, licorice, and subtle nuances of tobacco and chocolate, thanks to the oak aging. On the palate, it is warm, soft, and full-bodied, with a structured body and rounded yet present tannins. The balance between alcohol, freshness, and softness makes it harmonious and persistent, with a long, fruity finish that recalls the sweetness of ripe fruit and spices.
